These are the official rules for this website, please follow them ;
#1: Please, no spamming! It is a waste of our members time, and frankly, spamming just to raise your post count may make you get suspended from the site. Sound good? [This also involves double posting, unless it has been a little over a day and you need to bump your topic]
#2: Respect others, treat them as you would like to be treated! Now, I understand people can have arguements about certain topics, but bashing each other instead of finding formidable information to contribute to what you believe is not the right choice. Work it out.
#3: Becuase this RP involves the Sailor Senshi and their friends attending a high school, there can be some swearing and suggestive themes, just not too over the top. No F-bombs or calling people 'female dogs'. xD;;
#4: Please do not ask, or definitely not beg, me to become a Mod or Admin, because if I feel like you should be choosen as one, I will contact you and it will work out from there. So if you want a chance, just post well, treat others respectively, and such. Also, do not argue that you do commit these acts and should be an Admin/Mod, because then you will for sure not be selected.
#5: There isn't really a character limit anymore =3
#5.5: When you create your profiles, at the bottom in the 'Codeword:' line, put the word 'Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon' to show that you have read the rules. Just a little precaution to make sure that all members have read the rules ^^
#6: You characters do not just mysteriously vanish from threads, in an OOC line, announce that the are leaving, and where they are going, and try to make it obvious to the other characters in the thread that you are leaving that you are indeed leaving.
#7: During the roleplay, OOC, or Out Of Character, lines should be bracketed off like (( )), [[ ]], ** **, etc. The use of these are for helping your fellow members with mistakes they have made or if you are announcing you are leaving to another thread, or if you are signing off and that post will be your last.
#8: Please, please, please! Make an effort to use proper grammar and punctuation. I am not saying that your posts have to meet an Honors English course's expectations, but they should be readable, and seperated by proper punctuation.
#9: No god-modding! This means you may not control the actions of another member's character. You may never do this. [ie. Nephrite sent a punch toward Serena, and then she stood up and slugged him one herself. Serena is not my character, thus, I would not be able to control what she does]
#10: You may choose to be any of the Canon characters that were throughout the series..I am not going to allow Custom characters until all/most of the Canons are taken.. That way, we can keep the role play moving. It would just be awkward if we were missing one of the inner circle, no? We are now allowing Custom Characters.
#11: This is a somewhat highschool based RP, so Romance RPing is basically expected. I am fine with all couplings, girlxguy, guyxguy, girlxgirl, etc. but if you want to Romance RP with someone, be sure to PM them first, making sure it is ok. Since we all know highschoolers aren't..the most responsible in sexual situations, you can slightly describe the events that are going on, but if you plan to go all the way, which is rare for a younger highschooler, do not describe the event in the post, just lead up to it (ie. and then Serena and Darien closed the door, and nobody heard a sound and they didn't come out for a long time...). If you feel the need you MUST RP a scene like that, RP it over PM, because some younger members may not like to see that.
#12: Please make your username the name of your main character.. It will be easier for other members to recognize you and whatnot. Your other character's names can go in your signature, if you'd like.
#13: Have fun! This is a must as well! *laughs*
#14: Please don't have large signatures, it makes the threads look cluttered.
#15: Absolutely NO CROSSOVERS unless a crossover plot is approved. Other than that, please no crossovers.
#16: At most, two canon senshi per person.
#17: Dream logic only goes so far. Even in a dream, God Moding is NEVER ALLOWED.
#18. Overpowerful characters are an absoulte no-no. Sure, you can have a strong villain/hero that has trained for quite sometime, but don't expect to be allowed a superpowerful character right off the bat. We all have to start somewhere, and it really isn't fair to the rest of our members if there is a character to have the ability to pretty much knock off any character here on the site.. Also, your character should take damage during a battle. It isn't like they can be unbeatable or anything of the sort.. Every character must have a weakness, or at least take damage when fighting. Please, keep the powers reasonable.. Well, reasonable for a fantasy based role play xP
I hope you enjoy your time at this site!

*~If you don't want double posting, then you should disable ALL your boards created to disable double posting. Otherwise, people will still do it whether you tell them not to. Might want to fix this rule.~*
Quote:| #2: Respect others, treat them as you would like to be treated! Now, I understand people can have arguements about certain topics, but bashing each other instead of finding formidable information to contribute to what you believe is not the right choice. Work it out. |
|
*~You're always gonna have members arguing with each other. Even behind your back. But I consider this one a fairly good rule.~*
Quote:| #3: Becuase this RP involves the Sailor Senshi and their friends attending a high school, there can be some swearing and suggestive themes, just not too over the top. No F-bombs or calling people 'female dogs'. xD;; |
|
*~Might want to go to your admin CP and clear out all the words that replace others so your rules and anything else members post don't sound retarted.~*
Quote:| #4: Please do not ask, or definitely not beg, me to become a Mod or Admin, because if I feel like you should be choosen as one, I will contact you and it will work out from there. |
*~You should choose your staff based on what programming experience they know and if they've actually ran a forum of their own. Trust me it helps lightening the work load instead of just randomly selecting members that have been on good behavior to become staff and they don't know what the hell they're doing.~*
Quote:| #5: There isn't really a character limit anymore =3 |
|
*~Character limits overcomplicates things anyway so good rule there. ~*
Quote:| #5.5: When you create your profiles, at the bottom in the 'Codeword:' line, put the word 'Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon' to show that you have read the rules. Just a little precaution to make sure that all members have read the rules ^^ |
|
*~Considering that you don't hide the content posted on your forum from guests, it's easier for them to just go in the profiles section, look at other bios and just know the code word from that way. So might want to nix this rule because it may have worked now but later you might end up getting a person that might do that and they break a rule... well yeah you get the point.~*
Quote:| #6: You characters do not just mysteriously vanish from threads, in an OOC line, announce that the are leaving, and where they are going, and try to make it obvious to the other characters in the thread that you are leaving that you are indeed leaving. |
|
*~I'm pretty sure you don't have to make a rule to tell members to let others know when they're character is departing from the thread. True you get those few n00bs that post one liner replies when their characters are leaving but rule or not, everyone should already know how to state when their character is leaving out of a thread.~*
Quote:| #7: During the roleplay, OOC, or Out Of Character, lines should be bracketed off like (( )), [[ ]], ** **, etc. The use of these are for helping your fellow members with mistakes they have made or if you are announcing you are leaving to another thread, or if you are signing off and that post will be your last. |
|
*~Again, stating the obvious, this rule is also not needed. Members already know how to do this if they've been on previous forums before. Your rules are really starting to make it sound like your members are quite slow....~*
Quote:| #8: Please, please, please! Make an effort to use proper grammar and punctuation. I am not saying that your posts have to meet an Honors English course's expectations, but they should be readable, and seperated by proper punctuation. |
|
*~Okay good rule but it lacks at least a sentence posting requirement. Not saying it has to be for every reply but members should at least post more than one line because one liners... are annoying. So like saying maybe to start out a thread would be two paragraphs five to six sentences. That's not that hard. Though it does weed out the members that are too lazy to post more.~*
Quote:| #9: No god-modding! This means you may not control the actions of another member's character. You may never do this. [ie. Nephrite sent a punch toward Serena, and then she stood up and slugged him one herself. Serena is not my character, thus, I would not be able to control what she does] |
|
*~There's more to god modding than just controlling another member's character. There's also making a character that's perfectly flawless and has no weaknesses, characters can return back to life without good enough reason. Mostly pertaining to annoying reviving villains. A character knows what's going on everywhere regardless as to where they currently are in relation to the event and changing events in a storyline or just the forum in general that have not come to pass without permission. This all relates to god modding. So might want to fix this rule.~*
Quote:| #10: You may choose to be any of the Canon characters that were throughout the series..I am not going to allow Custom characters until all/most of the Canons are taken.. That way, we can keep the role play moving. It would just be awkward if we were missing one of the inner circle, no? We are now allowing Custom Characters. |
|
*~I know this isn't my forum but seriously, you can't force members to take a canon character from the show if they do not want to. That is unfair and probably why a lot of people that wanted to RP their own characters just stopped coming. Look, you're always gonna have some missing Senshi out of the bunch for it happens on an RP forum. But you can't make a rule that forces everyone to choose a series character first and then if a member RPs nothing but custom characters they have to PM a staff member letting them know... What the hell why? If members don't want to RP a canon that is there choice not yours and if all they want to do is RP custom characters and wait later for a canon, they shouldn't have to PM you or any other staff for that matter letting you know that. Yeah, this rule needs to be removed cuz I'm definitely not joining if this is still up.~*
Quote:| #11: This is a somewhat highschool based RP, so Romance RPing is basically expected. I am fine with all couplings, girlxguy, guyxguy, girlxgirl, etc. but if you want to Romance RP with someone, be sure to PM them first, making sure it is ok. If you feel the need you MUST RP a scene like that, RP it over PM, because some younger members may not like to see that. |
|
*~You'd be surprised what young teenagers read these days. It's pointless to RP a sex scene over PM so if you don't want members RPing sexual threads then make a rule that restricts it all together. Or that romance board you have, members that have the password can post in there since not everyone can get in without the password. Besides, you can always keep changing it randomly that way not everyone knows the password doesn't stay the same.~*
Quote:| #12: Please make your username the name of your main character.. It will be easier for other members to recognize you and whatnot. Your other character's names can go in your signature, if you'd like. |
|
*~Then you might want to do something about the accounts that have the same display name of the same character. If it's not theirs then they need to remove it from their name. But good rule though.~*
Quote:| #13: Have fun! This is a must as well! *laughs* |
|
*~... This isn't a rule therefore it needs to be nixed or replaced with another rule.~*
Quote:| #14: Please don't have large signatures, it makes the threads look cluttered. |
|
*~Also a good rule for nobody wants to RP with a member who has a picture in their sig that's stretching the page when posting.~*
Quote:| #15: Absolutely NO CROSSOVERS unless a crossover plot is approved. Other than that, please no crossovers. |
|
*~Well maybe not any crossovers in a plot makes sense I'll give you that but might wanna be careful with this rule for members could take it in an entirely different way.~*
Quote:| #16: At most, two canon senshi per person. |
|
*~Oh yeah that'll really get characters taken fast... *sarcasm*~*
Quote:| #17: Dream logic only goes so far. Even in a dream, God Moding is NEVER ALLOWED. |
|
*~This rule should be placed with god modding if that is the case.~*

*~Again tis another rule that should be placed with god modding.~*

Eh, I know this isn't my forum but these rules need work becase members can still get away with a lot of nuts if the rules aren't up to par. I know this forum is dead but if you're planning on trying to revive it someday, might want to start with fixing the rules first.
